We are a patient support and educational platform created exclusively for PH patients, and run exclusively by PH patients.
Pulmonary Hypertension India is a collective expression of self-acceptance, resilience, and a strong survival instinct by Indian PHighters.
We are all patients, undestroyed and undefeated veterans, trying to win the war against Pulmonary Hypertension.
Our mission is straightforward. We aim to empower, educate, and enable fellow Indian PHers to make informed decisions and the right choices in dealing with this life-changing condition. We achieve this by prioritizing Knowledge, Access, and Community as our core objectives.
What We Do
Pulmonary Hypertension India is driven by
THREE strong imperatives:
1. To inform the recently diagnosed PH folks and their families that not everything on Google is accurate & that the PH info on the internet is full of nuance. Our message is one of hope based on science.
2. India suffers from an acute dearth of Pulmonary Hypertension specialists with wholesome domain knowledge. But we are here, creating databases, lists, and resources, and generally making life easy for all new patients.
3. There’s power in COMMUNITY. When patients join hands and hearts, magical things happen. Together, we work on PH awareness, enable access to better drugs, build an international support network, and encourage the ecosystem of doctors, scientists, and companies to do better by us.
